Our Stance on Funding
This Movement is going against the conventional funding models often seen in advocacy, particularly concerning family law issues. We observe that many initiatives, especially those related to family law, receive significant funding. For example, Pivotal Ventures and Melinda French Gates have announced a $1 billion commitment to such causes. Furthermore, OpenSecrets.org tracks the substantial spending of organizations like the National Women’s Law Center and others that lobby for family law-related issues. In 2019 alone, the National Women’s Law Center reportedly spent $590,000 on lobbying efforts. Our approach seeks a different path, driven by grassroots support.
Our Strategies for Change
- 1. Media (TV Commercials): Utilizing television to broaden our reach and communicate our message effectively to a wide audience.
- 2. Internet Advertising (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc.): Leveraging the power of social media and online platforms to engage with diverse communities and spread awareness.
- 3. Lobbying (Congress and Senate): Actively engaging with lawmakers at both federal levels to advocate for legislative reforms.
- 4. Candidates Running for Office (Choosing Our Own Candidates): Supporting and promoting candidates who align with our movement’s goals and values to effect change from within the political system.
- 5. A Million NCP March: Mobilizing non-custodial parents (NCPs) and their allies for a large-scale demonstration. With an estimated 20 million NCPs in this country, we believe that TOGETHER WE WILL CHANGE FAMILY LAWS TO SAVE OUR CHILDREN. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
